Mr. Polge is a transformative leader with over 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, spanning strategic and operational roles across 12 countries in Europe and North America. His innovative and results-driven leadership has directly generated revenues exceeding €15 billion. As a former CEO of Coca-Cola Limited Canada and Coca-Cola France, Mr. Polge has demonstrated exceptional capability in navigating complex industry challenges, fostering organizational growth, and driving business turnarounds. He is currently building a portfolio of business activities as a private investor and senior advisor to private equity firms, SMEs, and start-up founders.

Transformative Leadership in Global FMCG

During his 28-year career at Coca-Cola, Mr. Polge held various leadership positions of increasing responsibility. As CEO of Coca-Cola France from 2006 to 2010, he transformed the fourth-largest market in Europe into the fastest-growing and top profit contributor for four consecutive years. Under his leadership, the business unit achieved volume growth of 5% per year and increased profits by €110 million. Notably, he repositioned the portfolio towards health and wellness trends, successfully launching Coca-Cola Zero, which generated €100 million in revenue within four years.

As CEO of Coca-Cola Limited Canada from 2015 to 2017, Mr. Polge led the development and execution of a turnaround strategy. He revamped the portfolio strategy, increased packaging diversity, and created a stand-alone €200 million juice organization. His initiatives resulted in significant growth, with Smartwater sales increasing by 35% and small-size pack sales growing by 10% in 2016.

 

Strategic Business Transformation and Growth

Most recently, as CEO of Group Les 2 Marmottes from 2018 to 2022, Mr. Polge led a remarkable transformation of this SME specializing in herbal teas. Under his tenure, the business doubled in size, with revenues reaching €21 million and market share increasing from 7.5% to 13.5% in the French infusion retail market. He successfully managed the leadership transition from the family owner and later orchestrated the company’s sale to JDE Peet’s, a global player in coffee and tea.
